Hello, I am Tom Van Dyck, I play alto, soprano and baritone saxophones and sometimes EWI, Akai's Electronic Wind Instrument.

I compose and arrange 'jazz music'. I like form, rhythm, harmony & melody, and keep on developing my ways to handle them. I like to compose music that is discovering 'new territory' whithout getting out of touch with the audience. Compositions that feel as a pleasant surprise which might reveal an unexpected view without shocking my listeners. You can read all about me on the about page.

September 2026: Everything set for the release of "Who Needs Words", the latest album of the Tom Van Dyck Quartet.

July & August 2026: We'll be playing with Piet Verbist's Flamenco Jazz Summit in Málaga (30/7), Sevilla (4/8) and Cádiz (6/8). More info in the calendar

5th July 2026: Album of the Tom Van Dyck Quartet as good as ready to be released. Release planned upcoming September

10th April 2026: The Tom Van Dyck Quartet with Milan Verbist on piano, Piet Verbist on double bass & Wim Eggermont on drums finished their recordings in the Rockstar studio in Niel. What a nice place, what a great piano, what a great sound engineer! Next job is mixing, hope to be ready to release in september.
